Psalm 23

The Lord Is My Shepherd

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters
He restoreth my soul.

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for his name's sake

Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemes;
thou annointest my headwith oil;
my cup runneth over

Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life.
and I will dwell in the house of The Lord forever.

Joey had MANY beautiful moments and many were captured on film by Rachel. Thank you Rachel for such incredible memories in pictures.

Joe's mother Dolores' funeral is tomorrow in California. She loved Joey and Joey loved her. Psalm 23, perhaps the most cherished passage in the Bible, is a fitting farewell for Dolores, too. She is lying in green pastures beside still waters even now. Our love to all those we cherish who are now in the presence of our Good Shepherd and Beautiful Savior.

Dear Joe & Karen,
Thinking and praying for you again today. You both have not left our prayers or thoughts. Today I felt compelled to share that with you, not knowing that Joe's mother is with the Lord. I have beautiful Haleconia and ginger blooming, I hope to bring some by soon.
Love and miss you!

The picture of Joey and Psalm 23 together is precious. What a gift to remember him always. Looking at the picture you sense such peace in Joey, and to think, even now, he is in the presence of the Prince of Peace.

How beautiful and comforting to know that Joey and Grandma Dolores are together in the presence of our Mighty Lord!! Your time with Joey here on earth was short but when reunited in heaven your time with him with be for eternity!! Rejoice in knowing that this is only temporary and the missing is incredibly painful but the reunion will be so amazing knowing you will never ever be apart again!! We love you and never ever does a day go by that we don't think of you, pray for you, and cry with you!! Our BIG HUGE hugs and so much love to you.... Lori and Wes
